Denise Blake is an outreach project director for Outreach Extensions. Prior work included key positions in nonprofit, corporate, and government institutions.
At the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, she was responsible for designing training curricula for adult learners. She also led important research on the philosophy of nonviolent social change. At the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Denise managed the Foundation’s educational scholarship, internship and fellowship programs. She also served for two years as Interim Executive Director for the Interdenominational Theological Center’s ITC/FaithFactor, where she coordinated outreach ministry education to churches and other faith-based, government, and community partners. Denise holds a B.A. from Spelman College and a Master of Public Administration from Georgia State University.
